Behind the Creation of Disney XD's First Ever Spin-Off/Sequel Series

Lab Rats: Elite Force was announced back in September of 2015 after the success of the crossover "Lab Rats vs. Mighty Med", one of the first and amazing crossovers that featured an AWESOME cast from both shows. Lab Rats/Lab Rats: Bionic Island creators Chris Peterson and Bryan Moore served as the creators of the sequel series, with a group of cast members from both shows serving as main characters. The series featured William Brent (Chase Davenport), Kelli Berglund (Bree Davenport), Bradley Steven Perry (Kaz), Jake Short (Oliver), and Paris Berelc (Skylar Storm) as they formed one elite group of both bionic heroes and superheroes, who came across the villainous shapeshifter family, led by Rodissius (Eric Steinberg) and his children, most notably the shapeshifters Roman (Booboo Stewart), Riker (Ryan Potter), and Reese (Fivel Stewart). The series focuses on protecting the superheroes and defeating villains after Mighty Med Hospital was destroyed by Roman and Riker after their father, Rodissius, had to get his powers removed in order to save his life. Since then, he became enraged and declared genocide on all superheroes in the world. Knowing that they wouldn't let that happen, the Elite Force vowed to protect the superheroes from the vengeful villain family.

What you can do to help the series get the closure it deserves!

Lab Rats: Elite Force was left on an awful cliffhanger that left fans questioning what would happen next. A lot of fans were very upset that Disney decided to cancel the series and have the series left on an ending that made us try to figure out how the series was going to end. However, as our faithful and trustworthy Elite Force team members, you can help us get the well-deserved second season that we have been waiting for over two years to get! And yes, I did make this site on the two year anniversary of the series premiering on Disney XD. Here are thing you can do so that we can get a revival of the series:

1. Do rallies to get Disney's attention so that they can build interest to make more episodes of the series.

2. Mail, E-Mail or Call people in charge of the television part of Disney and let them know that you want the show renewed. Disney ABC Press has a ton of emails and phone numbers that you can reach them at. My good friend Chase McFly will also give you addresses in order to mail an actual letter so that you can tell Disney that the show needs to be renewed!

3. Start petitioning Disney to get the show another season, revival or possible reboot. Change.org is a great way to start a petition so that you can let Disney know that ending the series on a cliffhanger was a bad idea from the start.

I will post more ways you guys can let Disney know that we need our show back! Remember guys... ELITE FORCE FOREVER!

Learn about when the series started and more!

Lab Rats: Elite Force premiered on March 2, 2016, with the series premiere being The Rise of Five. The series premiere was set after the events of the Lab Rats episode The Vanishing, where the Bionic Team faced off against Giselle Vickers as well as a resurrected Marcus Davenport. After defeating the villains, the team gets split up, with Adam and Leo overseeing the Bionic Academy and Chase and Bree joining the Elite Force.

However, the show didn't last very long as people hoped it would...

In October of 2016, both Bryan Moore (co-creator of the series) and Kelli Berglund announced that there would be no second season and that Disney was cancelling the series. This can be related to a couple of reasons:

1. Disney wanted Disney XD (formerly Toon Disney) to primarily focus on 2D and 3D animated shows rather than live action. They even cancelled Gamer's Guide to Pretty Mich Everything because of this reason as well. The only live action show left is Mech X-4, which is currently on its second season.

2. The series wasn't as praised as Lab Rats or Mighty Med. A lot of people who watched the series, especially die-hard fans of Lab Rats, didn't like the series due to it being more of a teen sitcom than a superhero series.

3. Ratings were especially low. The premiere episode garnered 520,000 viewers when it aired, making it one of the lowest watched series premieres in Disney history. The series finale (which I am hoping that it will not be the last episode of the series if this campaign goes well) garnered 550,000 viewers, earning about 300 thousand more viewers than the series premiere. The Wizards of Waverly Place finale garnered 9.8 million viewers, making it the most watched series finale in Disney history, while the series premiere had 5.9 million viewers. This could be because a lot of people might not watch Disney that much anymore since they are growing up, but they usually let their kids watch it.
